Kara is a self sufficient hermit who meets no one. But what happens when things go slightly wrong? Can we help her overcome her fears?

This solo game project highlights the challenges of social anxiety, often misunderstood as irrational by others.

About the Game :

Don’t Talk is a game inspired by the hidden struggles of social anxiety and how it prevents people from handling basic daily tasks. The story follows Kara, a hermit living in isolation. One day, when things go slightly wrong, she panics. The player must use creative solutions to solve practical, escape-room-style puzzles to help Kara cope.

For example, in one level, Kara needs to fix a switchboard in her backyard but is unable to approach the rowdy kids playing there. Too anxious to ask them to leave, she must come up with an innovative distraction to get the job done.

The game explores systematic desensitization, where as Kara progresses, she gains confidence and unlocks dialogue options as part of the gameplay, reflecting her healing journey.
